The project

Located in Alverca Do Ribatejo, Portugal, this 11,572 sq. metre property complex was losing its office space and attractiveness in an area that had been neglected for 30 years! Once enlarged and transformed in 2024, 52,000 sq. m will help to create a practical city. Housing, food, entertainment, healthcare, shopping... The project will ensure the expansion and diversification of its original sites, rethinking and interconnecting spaces to meet the needs of the city and the new lifestyles of its residents. 

We wanted it to be responsible and sustainable by making the project a benchmark for sustainable construction, creating 1,800 m² of green gardens, generating green energy with the installation of more than 900 photovoltaic panels and connecting the site to the city's cycle paths.


We wanted it to be high-tech and participatory, by creating an 1100m2 Citizen's Store in partnership with the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira, a 9000m2 health and wellbeing centre as well as living and meeting spaces.


We wanted it to be mixed, transforming unused towers into housing for over 200 people, creating 8,300 m2 of new shops and services (including a Leroy Merlin shop) and a leisure and sports area open to all.
