Built on an industrial wasteland in the heart of the city, Merlata Bloom Milano is one of our flagship projects that demonstrates our ability to regenerate sites sustainably, but also to forge strong local ties. Our teams have developed a tailor-made cultural and commercial offering, designed in direct consultation with local residents.
In addition to meeting the needs of residents, the centre encourages interaction, exchange and innovation with local stakeholders. A genuine relationship has been built with the neighbourhood, the green research and innovation centre, the university campus and the hospital, all of which are located nearby and reinforce Merlata Bloom's strong local roots.
Merlata Bloom Milano
Developed with Merlata Mall S.p.A, we wanted to make Merlata Bloom Milano a responsible and sustainable place, using eco-friendly building materials and renewable energy, creating numerous green spaces and prioritising natural light.
The entire centre has been designed to blend in with its immediate surroundings, with architecture and technical solutions specifically implemented to improve its sustainability. We have also worked on its technological and participatory aspects, with an innovative phygital commercial offering designed according to the feedback and needs of local residents.
