The project
On 13 April, Nhood Italian teams unveiled the first phase of the To Dream project, the largest urban district in Piedmont, which is breathing new life to the former Michelin industrial area and offers the city of Turin a revamped district with mixed use at its center. The long dreamed-of project finally came true.
A brownfield converted into a lively neighbourhood
To Dream is the flagship of the regeneration project of the former Michelin industrial area in Turin carried out by Nhood Italian teams. A new 270,000 m2 city within the city comes to life. Easily accessible thanks to its strategic location at the centre of a crossroads that is the gateway to the north-east of the city, this site aims to become a regional hub. In this unique location, which takes the form of a ultramodern district, visitors will find all the key features to create a neighbourhood life: 100 shops, 35 restaurants, many recreational facilities, an event arena, a sports area, a highly developed service area, a business hotel and the new Michelin headquarters. All this in a splendid urban park: a true open-air dream!

Turin’s new shopping destination
To Dream will become the largest shopping centre in the city of Turin. This new concept features a wide range of shops, services and recreational facilities on nearly 84,000 m2 and welcomes customers with a state-of-the-art open gallery (45,000 m2). In 100 stores, customers will find international food, home furnishings, fashion and ready-to-wear brands. To complete the offer and become a place to meet friends and family, an additional 39,000 m2 will be dedicated to entertainment and leisure, as well as to areas dedicated to key services.
Nhood asserts its expertise in triple-positive neighbourhood transformation
After the transformation of the former 3 Suisses logistics warehouses in France into a mixed-use neighbourhood called La Maillerie which combines housing, delicatessens, offices and a green rooftop, which is a real green lung for the city, and the transformation of Romania’s former industrial cradle into a mixed-use site called Resota Project. Nhood keeps developing its expertise and know-how in transforming brownfields. To Dream is a new case study to show that real estate can be made more sustainable and virtuous.
