Decathlon , an innovative manufacturer and distributor of sports equipment for all levels, and Nhood , an international company specialising in commercial property and urban regeneration, announce the opening of the renovated and expanded Decathlon store at the Rescaldina Shopping Centre , a facility which, for more than twenty years, has been a benchmark for the north-west Lombardy region in Italy.
Decathlon , an innovative manufacturer and distributor of sports equipment for all levels, and Nhood , an international company specialising in commercial property and urban regeneration, announce the opening of the renovated and expanded Decathlon store at the Rescaldina Shopping Centre , a facility which, for more than twenty years, has been a benchmark for the north-west Lombardy region. The store renovation, which now covers approximately 3,500 m² , forms part of a major restyling and reorganisation plan for the first floor promoted by Nhood, the centre's manager. The project, launched in September 2025, aims to enhance the asset , strengthen the commercial offering and services and to respond ever more effectively to the needs of the local area .
The new Decathlon store stands out for its innovative format and circular layout, designed to offer improved flow and a shopping experience that's smoother and more intuitive. The increased space has enabled a broader range , extending the collections dedicated to fitness, mountain sports, running and swimming, offering technical solutions for all skill levels. Great emphasis is placed on innovation and service with a checkout area equipped with nine tills, seven of which are automatic, to reduce waiting times and make checkout easier. Sustainability is also central to the project: in line with the company’s environmental commitment, the store offers a complete range of services linked to the circular economy, actively promoting the repair and reuse of sports equipment. To further enhance the value of the retail outlet, a team of 50 teammates , true brand ambassadors, is ready to share their technical expertise with the local community.
